Ted Teele
Founder & CEO

Background:
Ted Teele is a Harvard-educated entrepreneur (BA, MBA) with more than 25 years of CEO-level leadership and a deeply personal reason for building BrainBoosters of America.
In 2019, a quintuple heart bypass changed everything. Ted dove into the science of longevity and discovered a gap he couldn't ignore: older adults overwhelmingly fear cognitive decline, yet few programs exist that make it easier, and genuinely enjoyable, to do something about it. BrainBoosters was born to fill that gap.
BrainBoosters of America is the first-of-its-kind Cognitive Enhancement Club, rooted in Scientific Wellness, a predictive, preventive, personalized, and participatory approach to health. Every member receives a personalized cognitive health roadmap built from biomarker testing, cognitive assessments, and lifestyle data. From there, the program combines evidence-based brain training, resistance and aerobic exercise, brain-healthy nutrition, social engagement, and gamification, all designed to measurably improve memory, cognitive speed, and executive function while reducing dementia risk.
The "club" model is what makes BrainBoosters different. It transforms individual wellness into a shared experience. Members motivate one another, compete in friendly challenges, celebrate progress, and build lasting friendships. In a recent survey of a Life Plan Community, over 90% of residents expressed interest in joining a cognitive enhancement club. BrainBoosters was created to meet that demand.
Ted also serves as CEO of Longevity Community Consultants, where he is developing Longevity Communities and Longevity Day Clubs, innovative models for older adults who want to age in place while still engaging in community-based cognitive wellness. BrainBoosters sits at the heart of both.
Before founding BrainBoosters, Ted led Touchtown, the leading engagement platform for senior living, scaling it to serve over 3,000 communities nationwide before its acquisition by Uniguest. That experience gave him an insider's understanding of what senior living communities need and what residents actually want.
A lifelong adventurer who has visited 76 countries, all 50 states, and once traveled around the world in three weeks, Ted brings the same curiosity and energy to redefining how we age. He's a proud husband, father of six, and grandfather of five, with plenty of reasons to keep pushing the science of living longer and sharper.
